Our Expansion Into Eastern Cyprus
Daxi Magazine – the Premier Lifestyle Magazine for Eastern Cyprus.
Daxi magazine is free to its readers and widely distributed within the local eastern area of Cyprus. This has been a huge bonus to the success and expansion of this popular magazine. Daxi is very popular with both local residents and tourists. The Daxi magazine is also free to read online.
The first Daxi magazine was a local publication for the Famagusta area. The original magazine was first published in April 2010 by owner – Natalie Reed. The Daxi magazine soon became a recognised magazine attracting readers from throughout Eastern Cyprus.
Whilst the Daxi is a local magazine, it also enjoys a large number of international readers via the website. Readers can enjoy monthly issues in large, easy to read flip style pages from anywhere in the world.
How Daxi Expanded
In response to public demand and as a result of the growth and success of the Daxi brand, a ‘sister’ magazine was initially launched in April 2012. The new ‘sister’ magazine was ‘Daxi Larnaca’. A decision was made to create the magazine with the same style and branding as ‘Daxi Famagusta’, but would now be for both readers and advertisers in the Larnaca area.
Whilst taking into consideration feedback from businesses and readers, Natalie understood advertisers wanted more for their money. In addition, readers wanted more articles, competitions and more information on products, services and events. Eventually the two magazines merged to creating the ‘All New’ Daxi Magazine.
Daxi is now so successful and has expanded its distributed throughout Eastern Cyprus to over 200 distribution points. It now has the benefit of offering advertisers the same price to advertise, but double the exposure!
The Daxi now incorporates community news, useful phone numbers and events for both Larnaca and Famagusta areas.
Daxi magazine is now the only FREE, English written magazine to give advertisers exposure throughout the area.
