HTTC (Hyperbaric Therapy Treatment Centre)
HTTC (Hyperbaric Therapy Treatment Centre) provides daily treatments in both our state of the art ‘Monoplace’ and ‘Multiplace’ chambers.
We are the only facility in Cyprus to offer both options for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) treatments, thereby ensuring you get the best care and treatment possible for your condition.
As a result, we are able to support the growing demand for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to patients suffering from various non-diving related diseases and injuries. The clinic opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00.
HTTC & Diving Incidents
In 2000, we established the business in Limassol. This was mainly to provide a better service to the increasing number of Recreational and Technical scuba divers coming to Cyprus who could possibly need Recompression Therapy in the event of a diving incident.
In 2009, we expanded and purchased a new chamber and relocated to Larnaca. The move made our facility more accessible to the local population and tourist divers. It was here in Larnaca that we established the Poseidonia Medical Centre.
We offer specialised medical care for Commercial and Recreational scuba divers suffering from DCI (Decompression Illness). Additionally, we also provide 24-hour EMS (Emergency Response System). Fully trained Hyperbaric Physicians, Certified Technicians and experienced ECHCO Chamber Operators staff the Hyperbaric Therapy Treatment Centre.
Our team provide Emergency Standby throughout the year 24/7. In addition, at HTTC we follow internationally recognised treatment profiles, mostly based on US Navy, COMEX and European Undersea & Baromedical Society (EUBS) protocols.
These internationally acclaimed and recognised bodies set the benchmarks for Decompression Illness (DCI) treatments globally. Depending on the severity of symptoms, all protocols are applied on the physician’s recommendation. As a result, patients are provided treatments until all symptoms are completely resolved or until alternative treatments are necessary.
Additionally, we provide a 24 hour helpline for advice and information on: +357 99518837.
