All our carers are NVQ qualified, which enables them to provide basic treatment and provide general health care, whilst considering the safety and security of patients.
Our aim is to provide good health care and general well being, which reduces exposure to adverse effects, including injury and infection. Your health and safety is important to us.
A safe and healthy living environment is very important. We can assist in educating patients and families on safe practices to help prevent infection and disease. A clean and safe environment aids a patient recovery, whilst ensuring comfortable surroundings to live in.
Our carers are supported by qualified nurses when required. We can then liaise with medical staff, patients and family, to ensure that a high level of care is provided for you in your home. Our carers also ensure equality and patients rights, without discrimination.
When necessary and with your permission we can record and maintain basic medical records, which allow us to track and react to changes. In maintaining records we can also better assess and plan your care, which enables us to provide you with the best care possible.
Through initial and ongoing training, our carers can safely handle equipment used during care, including hoists and wheelchairs. We will also monitor and control mobility problems, to include assisting in moving and handling when required.
Sometimes it is really good to have a day out of the house. It might be a trip to the shops, or just a nice lunch at your favourite restaurant. We can provide assistance and support for day trips, just to make your life more enjoyable.
If your needs are more simple and not so clinically orientated, we can provide other services to assist you or to aide patient recovery, to include basic domestic services i.e. cooking, washing, cleaning, ironing and shopping.
It is important to remember the hot climate that we live in. Therefore, it is essential that sufficient fluids are drunk daily for a body to function correctly. Constant fluid monitoring and fluid administration is a crucial part to ensure a patients well being and to prevent dehydration.
